What do You Lose with Canon EF to RF Adapter?

Will the EF lens lose autofocus speed on the mirrorless camera? Will the IBIS work with the old lens? Who is an adapter from an RF camera to an EF lens like the 7Artesens? For someone starting with a limited budget, the EF Canon lenses new & used are exciting. Or a professional with a big investment in EF lens and jumps to the new mirrorless cameras, and buying all the lenses in the RF version is just a waste of money.
